Ethereum’s tokenization bid gains momentum as assets hits over $17 billion

Ethereum’s tokenization bid gains momentum as assets hits over billion

Although Ethereum (ETH) price has remained trapped in a horizontal consolidation over the past four weeks after breaking out from its multi-month bear market, on-chain data shows its tokenization of real-world assets (RWA) has grown to over $17 billion.

Ethereum’s Distributed Asset Value (DAV), which tracks RWA tokens using the blockchain as a distribution layer, was at $17.36 billion on August 14, according to data from RWA.xyz

Over the last 30 days, Ethereum’s DAV climbed 0.5%, thus solidifying this network’s lead in the tokenization bid. The ETH’s Represent Asset Value (RAV), representing RWA tokens using the blockchain as a record-keeping layer, was at $91.11 million at the time of reporting, up 19.43% over the past 30 days.

The rising tokenization on the Ethereum network has fueled an increase in RWA holders, currently at 223,858, representing a 4.99% uptick over the past 30 days. As such, ETH’s RWA 30D transfer volume was at roughly $13.32 billion at the time of writing, up over 18% in four weeks.

Here is the impact on the Ethereum network and ETH price

The renewed demand for tokenization on the Ethereum network over the past 30 days coincided with a rising number of active addresses. Specifically, Ethereum’s active addresses Simple Moving Average (SMA) 7 was at 476,048, at the time of reporting, up from 373,113 on July 20, 2026, according to metrics from CryptoQuant.

Meanwhile, the rising tokenization bid on this blockchain has happened in tandem with ETH price rebounding from a multi-year support level around $1,580, as per analysis from Ali Martinez.

As such, if tokenization bids on the Ethereum network continue to grow, it could fuel a further rise in active addresses and reduce selling pressure on the ETH price.
