XRP Ledger shatters all-time high in total addresses: here’s why it matters

As XRP‘s market capitalization rose by more than $24.4 billion over the past 30 days, hovering at $87.24 billion on September 15, 2026, XRP Ledger (XRPL) addresses – the total cumulative number of unique addresses that have ever been active – surged to a new all-time high (ATH).
Total accounts on the XRP Ledger were 8,571,187 addresses as of September 14, according to data tracked by CryptoQuant.

On January 1, 2026, the XRPL had 7,921,350 total addresses. As such, this network has added 649,837 unique addresses so far in 2026, representing an uptick of approximately 8.20% year-to-date (YTD).
This notable surge in XRPL’s registered accounts has coincided with the network growth in tokenization of real-world assets (RWA), including stablecoins, as Finbold reported. Furthermore, XRP Ledger has benefited from efforts made by Ripple Labs, through its acquisition of Hidden Road, now Ripple Prime, and GTreasury, currently Ripple Treasury.

The XRP Ledger has attracted more holders over time, driven by its growth in tokenization of RWA assets. At the time of writing, the XRPL had enabled the tokenization of more than $5.4 billion, including stablecoins and other RWA assets, as per metrics from RWA.xyz.

As a result, the XRPL has recorded more than 81,000 holders through its stablecoins and RWA assets.

As the XRPL registered more unique accounts, XRP price has rallied 38.75% over the past 30 days, trading at $1.39 on Tuesday.
