XRP erases $61 billion in market value one year after Wall Street’s biggest XRP treasury plan

As Evernorth Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: XRPN) reached its one-year anniversary of the initial deal structure and announcement that set the entire Wall Street XRP treasury plan into motion on October 19, 2026, XRP has wiped out more than $61 billion during the same period.
Over the past 12 months, XRP saw its market capitalization plummet by $61.11 billion, or a 42.62% decline, down from $143.38 billion on October 19, 2025 to $82.27 billion at press time, according to crypto data Finbold retrieved from CoinMarketCap.

Meanwhile, the token’s derivatives market has gained momentum, driven by recent bullish sentiment. For instance, its Open Interest (OI), the total unsettled derivatives contracts, rose by nearly 17% over the past 24 hours to $13.53 billion, as per metrics from CoinMarketCap.
XRP crashes amid Wall Street adoption
XRP price has experienced strong selling pressure over the past 12 months, despite rising adoption by Wall Street investors. Exactly a year ago, Evernorth Holdings, which recently combined its business with Armada Acquisition Corp, unveiled its initial plan to launch a $1 billion corporate XRP treasury vehicle.
At the time of writing, this company – backed by Ripple Labs, Arrington Capital, SBI Group, Pantera Capital, Kraken, and GSR – held 473 million tokens, worth roughly $614.9 billion.
Despite the unwavering support from Wall Street investors, the crypto asset has lost over $61 billion in 12 months.
